Building a revision calendar for a fixed deadline
A fixed submission date is not a writing schedule. Without intermediate dates, drafts accumulate until the final weekend, when no auditor can help and no referee can rewrite.
Work backwards from the portal close
Mark the hard deadline, then place three earlier stakes: referee brief sent, external audit requested, and final freeze on major structural changes. For most competitive cycles we advise a two-week cushion between the audit return and the submit button.
Protect a freeze window
After a certain date, allow only typo fixes and factual corrections. Structural rewrites late in the cycle introduce new inconsistencies across essays, CV, and letters. Selection readers notice when the same achievement is dated differently in two places.
Account for Thai public holidays and school calendars
If your referees teach or work in Thailand, holiday weeks change response times. Build slack around Songkran and major examination periods. Applicants who ignore local calendars often discover silence at the worst moment.
What an audit needs from you
A complete packet, the programme criteria, and an honest note about what still worries you. Incomplete drafts can be reviewed, but findings will be provisional. The calendar should include a day to assemble those materials before you ask for a slot.
