Data we collect

Contact forms collect your name, email, optional audit type, deadline notes, and message content. During an engagement we receive the application documents you upload — which may include education history, employment history, and contact details of referees.

Purposes

We use this information to respond to inquiries, perform the agreed audit, invoice, and meet record-keeping duties. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

Inquiry messages are kept up to 24 months. Application packets and findings briefs are retained for 12 months after the engagement ends, then deleted from active storage, unless a longer period is required for accounting or dispute resolution. Aggregated, non-identifying notes about common requirement pitfalls may be kept longer for our internal reading practice.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of processing, and you may object to certain uses. To exercise rights, email us with enough detail to locate your file. You may also lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority where available.

International transfers

Our primary desk is in Japan. If a collaborator or secure storage provider processes data outside Japan, we take steps appropriate to the sensitivity of application documents, including contractual safeguards where required.
