Cookies
What cookies are, which ones this site may use, and how your choice is stored.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They can keep the site working, remember preferences, or help us understand aggregate traffic.
Types we use
Essential cookies support basic functions such as remembering your cookie preference so the banner does not reappear on every page load. Analytics cookies load only if you accept; they help us see which pages about our application audits are read most often. Rejecting analytics cookies does not block browsing, forms, or content.
Cookie table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| caag_cookie_consent | Stores Accept or Reject preference for the banner | 1 year (localStorage key) | Cloud Analytics Audit Group |
| _ga (if accepted) | Distinguishes aggregate visitors for analytics | Up to 2 years | Google Analytics (only if enabled after Accept) |
| _gid (if accepted) | Distinguishes visitors within 24 hours | 24 hours | Google Analytics (only if enabled after Accept) |
Managing or disabling cookies
Use Accept or Reject on the banner. You can clear site data in your browser to reset the choice. Browser settings can block cookies entirely; essential preference storage may then reappear as a banner on later visits.
Third-party cookies
If you accept analytics, a third-party provider may set cookies described above. Embedded fonts from Google Fonts are loaded without advertising cookies; see Google’s documentation for their connection data practices.
Impact of disabling
Rejecting or blocking analytics cookies does not remove access to audits information, fee pages, or the contact form. Only aggregate visit measurement is affected.
